The HOBBYWING XRotor X13 Series is an enterprise flagship integrated propulsion system engineered specifically for heavy-payload agricultural spraying drones, large logistics transport, firefighting UAVs, and industrial multi-rotors. Delivering extraordinary peak thrust ranging from 53 kg to 57 kg per axis with a recommended operational payload of 25–27 kg per rotor, the X13 integrates a massive 13825 brushless motor, an intelligent Field-Oriented Control (FOC) ESC, and high-efficiency 56×20 inch folding carbon fiber propellers into a pre-calibrated modular unit.
To accommodate different enterprise battery ecosystems, the X13 is offered in two configurations:
1. XRotor X13-18S (45KV): Engineered for next-generation ultra-heavy platforms utilizing 18S LiPo battery systems. Operating at higher voltage and lower current, it achieves superior system efficiency (up to 8.0 g/W), lower operating temperatures, and maximum thrust of up to 57 kg.
2. XRotor X13-14S (60KV): Designed for mainstream industrial 12S to 14S LiPo platforms, offering a turnkey upgrade path with peak thrust exceeding 53 kg while maintaining compatibility with standard battery and charging infrastructures.
Engineered to clamp directly onto standard 50mm carbon fiber arm tubes, the entire powertrain features an IPX6 weatherproof enclosure and real-time digital CAN bus telemetry, providing unmatched power density, reliability, and flight safety for commercial heavy-lift UAVs.
Offers system integrators complete flexibility between the high-efficiency 18S high-voltage architecture (45KV, up to 57kg thrust, 8.0 g/W efficiency) and the broadly compatible 12S–14S architecture (60KV, 54kg thrust).
Combines motor, ESC, propeller mount, and status LED into a single pre-tested assembly. Eliminates external motor-ESC wiring, drastically reducing assembly time and field failure points.
Driven by PMSM-optimized sinusoidal Field-Oriented Control, delivering smooth linear throttle response, high motor efficiency, low electrical noise, and fast dynamic response.
Continuously communicates critical real-time operating metrics—including input voltage, current draw, motor RPM, ESC temperature, and diagnostic error codes—directly to flight controllers for proactive safety monitoring.
Hermetically sealed internal electronics resist continuous exposure to rain, chemical sprays, liquid fertilizers, dust storms, and coastal salt corrosion (-20°C to 50°C).
Includes aerodynamically optimized 56×20 inch carbon fiber folding blades (292g/blade) designed to minimize rotational inertia, suppress acoustic noise, and maximize aerodynamic lift.
Features power-on self-test, over-current protection, motor stall protection, abnormal voltage cutoff, and thermal throttling to safeguard the aircraft against powertrain failures.
